ACS and Michael MacTavish’ previous company, CTA, have been clear market leaders for over 20 years in the supply of controlled atmosphere technology and products, in Australia and New Zealand, for the specialised storage of fruit and vegetables.
Michael MacTavish, following a career in electrical and instrumentation applications in process control and oil refineries, established CTA in the mid-eighties and was the first company in Australia to introduce on site Nitrogen generators for flushing room oxygen levels. In fruit storage, many other firsts followed including the development and introduction of automated CO2 Absorbers and centralised computerised control systems.
ACS staff and agents also have many years of experience. Chris MacTavish has a decade of experience in new installations, servicing equipment and the assessment and installation of our range of Salco gas tight doors. Chris has installed over 150 Salco doors Australia wide and in NZ.
Our agent in the Goulburn Valley region brings more than twenty years of experience in the industry and has also visited our key overseas equipment suppliers.
ACS ensures all its staff and agents are kept up to date with the latest world-wide CA technology and products for its customers benefit. This enables fully informed comprehensive technical assessments for every project to deliver the best long term result for the client’s investment. In turn, these projects are supported with ongoing service and parts support.
ACS enjoys its clear market leadership position through a hard earned reputation for engineering, design capabilities, customer service and staff experience.
